Dawn Stone

Owning my own business was never my intention when I decided to go to school to get my real estate license. I started working at Southern Foods in Greensboro when I was 18 years old. After working there for 20 years, I decided I wanted to try something new. I put a lot of thought and prayer into my decision to go to real estate school. I took the classes I needed and then the test. When I got it back and saw that I had passed, I was so excited! I had no plan of what I was going to do with my real estate license but I knew I had to have one if I was going to ever pursue a career in real estate. God had a plan though. I was contacted by a local woman that owned a property management company. She asked me if I would consider purchasing her business so that she could retire. She told me I would have to come up with my own business name. I was a single mom with a 12- and 15-year-old. I prayed about it and knew it was what God wanted me to do, so I took a leap of faith and I am so glad I did!

I love people! I love helping people get to the next level in their life. We are all in different seasons of life. Where to live is one of the biggest decisions that most people make. It is important that you feel at home wherever you are. Real estate is not just about the homes and land to me, it is about people's lives. I am grateful that God has given me the opportunity to make a difference. He uses A New Dawn Realty to help others.

I love life! I love people! I love my family! I love where I live! I love God first!

I have two awesome children. My son, Phillip, is my business partner at A New Dawn Realty. My daughter, Heather, is a nurse. We are great friends. My son married a wonderful girl, Casey. They have two children, Savanna and Carter. My grandchildren are the loves of my life.

I live on a mini-farm with two horses, four goats, four cats, and my black Lab, Sallie Mae. I love to work outside with the flowers and dig in the dirt. I love to mow the lawn. I love doing anything that is outside. It is hard for me to stay inside on pretty days. In my next life, I would like to be a farmhand in my own home. I enjoy it when my grandchildren spend the night with me. They call me Maw Maw. My family lives near me, which is comforting. I think they like living close to me too, except when Sallie Mae steals their dog and cat bowls.

I think dusting is a sin. I only clean as needed. I love to have my windows cleaned. I like antiques and old homes. I love my church and my church family at Ellisboro Baptist Church. I have been on three mission trips and have been so blessed every time. I teach Sunday school to 3rd and 4th graders. I am surrounded and blessed with many friends. I love to have fun!

My mission for A New Dawn Realty is to help people find their homes.

I grew up in Stokesdale on a mini-farm. I learned at a very early age the importance of hard work and dedication. I enjoyed playing many sports during my adolescent years and still enjoy that from time to time.

Like many high school graduates, I was trying to decide what I wanted to do with my life. After pondering this question, my mother asked me if I wanted to dive into an eventful real estate career. She had just recently created a new company, A New Dawn Realty. I jumped in head-first. I received my North Carolina real estate license in March of 2003 and worked as her licensed assistant for approximately four years. In 2007, we made a decision that I needed to be an independent broker under the firm's umbrella. Armed with all the knowledge and experience I gained during those previous four years, I flourished in my new adventure. Since that time, I have had the opportunity to complete more than 300 real estate transactions. I have learned valuable skill sets and tools from my experiences in guiding so many clients to the home of their dreams.

I am very blessed to have a wonderful family. My wife, Casey, and I met because of our career choices. It was love at first sight for me! She is also a licensed real estate agent, but currently spends the majority of her time with our two children, Savannah and Carter. They are our life and mean the world to us! I am also a business partner with my mother, Dawn, who is the broker in charge of our firm. My mother-in-law is one of our licensed transaction coordinators. We are truly a family-operating team.

I am a North Carolina native. My wife, Tauri, and I moved around a bit before eventually purchasing my childhood home in Madison. We are the proud parents of two wonderful children.

I grew up in the real estate business and officially become a Realtor® in 2004. My parents were involved with real estate transactions throughout the entire state of NC. One of my earliest memories is of riding with my dad to Oak Island so that he could complete repairs on a rental house and returning home that evening so that he could be at work the next day. This experience gave me an appreciation for hard work.

I did not initially plan to pursue a career in real estate. One day I received a catalog for Guilford County Technical college. I noticed that a real estate class was being offered at night, and I thought that this might be a way to gain some additional knowledge that would help my parents with their own real estate endeavors. Little did I know how much I would eventually end up enjoying the real estate world!

I spent several years driving a commercial vehicle during the day while showing and selling real estate in the evening. In July of 2016, I finally took a leap of faith and started my full-time, real estate career. I discovered how much I love helping families fulfill their dreams of homeownership.

In my free time, I enjoy attending softball games with my daughter Abby and 4-H shooting sports tournaments with my oldest daughter Chloe. We attend Ellisboro Baptist Church in Madison.

I have been a Realtor® for more than 17 years, assisting buyers and sellers in the Piedmont Triad. Real estate is both fascinating and fulfilling in many different areas, most importantly in helping people and families. I view every property and situation as being as unique as the clients that I serve. You will never be treated as a number, and your expectations will always be vital and foremost in all of our endeavors.

Janet Sullivan

I received my NC real estate license in November of 2017 while working as the office manager for A New Dawn Realty during 2016.

I have recently moved back from living in Shallotte for the past 17 years and am delighted to be back in my hometown and working with friends and what I consider “family.” I love being a part of such a smart, successful, and supportive group.

I’ve always enjoyed helping people and now I have an opportunity to guide and help them in achieving their goals through the challenging but rewarding world of real estate.

In my free time, I enjoy listening to music and singing occasionally, watching my favorite shows and movies, and also love flowers and nature. I am blessed with a beautiful family and love visiting my friends at the beach when I can.

In June 2020 I made the decision to join the team at A New Dawn Realty! I have been licensed since September 2019, but my love and passion for real estate began long before that. I have always followed the market, been the go-to friend to tell you what to do to get your home ready to sell, and dreamed of the day that I could follow my dream and become an agent!

My heart has always been to help others and make things pretty. I have been a nurse since I was 19 years old and helped my husband with his landscaping business for the past 6 years.

I am married to my high school sweetheart and the love of my life, Paul. Together we have 2 boys: Jordon is in college at GTCC and will soon be at UNCW - go Seahawks! Brendon attends high school at Bethany Community School. We also have 2 of the cutest Boxer dogs ever: Presley and Gracelyn. If you can’t tell by their names I am obsessed with ELVIS!

Building relationships while helping my clients achieve their real estate dreams is what it is all about!

I am blessed to be working with A New Dawn Realty. I didn’t think I would find my place in this world. I have had many jobs from skating rink attendant, Wendy’s manager to photo copy maker and Hooters girl. I am even an ordained minister. My life is full of love. I have a daughter who has graduated from UNCG at 21 years old with a bachelor’s degree and a son who has just about completed his first year of life. I have always been a free spirit, traveling and learning; looking for my little niche. I collect seashells from around the world and love the sound of the ocean. I also love to learn new things. The real estate market is constantly changing and there will always be new things to learn. It is the perfect place for me! It has taken me over 20 years to find what I really want to do with my life. Now that I have found it, I am putting 100% of my effort towards helping others find their new homes. I am excited to be on this journey and I will do my best to help make the buying and selling process easier for you!
